Driver Safety Tips for Young Adults
Crashes are the leading cause of death in the 15 to 24 age group.
Young drivers will receive weekly (52 total) text nudges (short message) and one-minute videos via their mobile phones to reinforce key driving best practices behind the wheel. The nudges and videos will be timely messages that reinforce proper behaviors they learned, or should have learned, during their driver’s education classes.
The goal for this service is to:
Reduce traffic violations that traditionally lead to crashes such as speeding, reckless driving, and DUI’s.
Reduce the number of crashes, injuries and fatalities in this age group.
Create a culture of safety to support the long-term foundation of the National Safety Council's Road to Zero Initiative for achieving zero roadway deaths by 2050.
